In addition to various stalls including games, displays, crafts and skills around the Village Hall, this year the Village Playing Fields were also used. Sited there was an interesting display of rare cars and motorbikes, have –a –go Archery, Tennis, Lawn Bowls and for the very energetic a bouncy castle for both children and adults.

A Tae Kwon-do demonstration took place in the hall followed by the finale of Indian style dancing which included an opportunity of a have - a- go dance for all.

The Canwick Photo Competition 2014 took place in the Social Club with entries from both adults and juniors.

The Royal Air Force Battle of Britain Memorial Flight's Hurricane and Spitfire were observed providing us with two fly pasts and later in the afternoon the Dakota also flew low over Canwick.

We would like to express our grateful thanks to all the volunteers who helped provide us with a fun afternoon by baking cakes, dancing, running a stall or tiding up after.

The proceeds raised from this event  support our village amenities and will help towards refurbishment of our village War Memorial which is classified by English Heritage as "A" Listed Building.
